dhiviya prabaharan, is a multi-disciplinary artist and cultural worker based in tkronto, dish with one spoon treaty territory, with ancestral roots in tenkasi, tamil nadu and chulipuram + maviddapuram, yaalpaanam.

creation, in the many ways that it manifests in their life, is a tool for the exploration of self, memory, healing, mysticism, contentedness to home, land and sovereignty. they engage in a sacred and intuitive creative process centred in play, using a variety of mediums including textiles, metal working, woodworking, pen and ink, illustration, digital and film photography, videography and movement.

dhiviya is currently an undergraduate student in material art and design (maad) at ocad university.
